A poem about life.

Distorted

Sew shut my eyes,

For I cannot bear

To see man’s inhumanity

To man anymore.

Wars, murders, butchering

The innocent; I do not

Want to watch.

Slice off my ears,

For I cannot bear

To hear the screams

Of despair anymore.

Instigation of castigation

Of the innocent; I do not

Want to listen.

Glue closed my mouth,

For I cannot bear

To speak the truth

To the world anymore.

Vocalization, articulation,

No one listens; I do not

Want to speak anymore.

My soul cries out in pain,

My soul cries out in vain.

Tightly chain my limbs,

For I cannot bear

To walk this filthy

Path anymore.

Debris of death

Of the innocent; I do not

Want to move anymore.

Such despair…and so well conveyed and written. You always dig so deep, Will!

Moving piece of work. We need more good guys like you Will.
Remember the saying, Evil triumphs when good men do nothing.

No sir no surgeries for you.
We have to keep you in tact to keep reminding us how not to act.
