My name says it all.

Rest upon my shoulders

Until you find your peace of mind

Take me like one of your brothers

Hold my hand when you are blind…

Embrace my thoughts before it shatters

Respect for you is what you will find

For it’s only now that really matters

Release the sad yesterday that binds…

Another day has not yet bothered

Nesting in our present minds

Cease and desist a frown that gathers

Instead smile when you rewind…

Share with me thoughts that caters

Throw away the hate it reminds

Ask for my help like I’m your father

Bring out the best of what I can grind..

Love me, oh please! With all you can muster

And any binding document I will sign

Take me for life and forever

Everything of our love will be divine..

“For it’s only now that really matters

Release the sad yesterday that binds…”

    along with the line

“Cease and desist a frown that gathers

    Instead smile when you rewind…

When you love someone, it’s right here, right now, in this moment. You’ve captured that divinely.

This is powerful … I could picture Jesus saying, “Come to me, all you who are weary, and I will give you rest.” Rutherfranc, this is wonderful stuff!
