A poem written by me about the Haiti disaster.
It is very sad to me
for the people in Haiti
who must raise teens
children and babies
in a world they never
thought they would know
because of an earthquake
that happened so close.
People have been killed
and buildings torn down
people left starving and
homeless on the ground.
Children pouting and
parents crying.
Some of the ones who
arn’t dead are slowly dying.
Food donations have
been made.
There are lives
that have been saved.
People don’t have to DIE like this.
All we have to do is TRY,like this:
donate food,clothing,and such.
For them it’s a lot.
To you it’s not much.
Just imagine if it
were you out there
sleeping in the dirt
with bugs in your hair
wouldn’t you want somone to help?
No one can do everything by themself.
You can’t do everything but
you CAN do something
and donating anything you
don’t need is one thing.
