On love and Christmas.

Reading the lifestyle of the reach and famous
Living in plenty and lavishly
They threw away abundance and grace
Not knowing there is another door from the window to see
People dying in hunger and poverty
Do they know its Christmas time?
There is a call for forgiveness, yet hatred still reigns
There is a demand for sharing, but nobody takes a bite to give
Reconciliation and understanding is just beside; yet very far to enemies
Do they know its Christmas time?

Open your heart and you will see
The real picture of life and humanity
Man may live for himself and today
Yet, he may have forgotten the others and the reason to live
Do they know its Christmas time?
Christmas is giving and sharing
It means loving the unlovable
Forgiving the unforgiving
And accepting the unacceptable

It means sacrificing for others
And living beyond self
Love is the essence of Christmas
In his glorious palace he was adored supreme
But preferred to be born in a saddle
To taste the bitterness of humanity
Knocking to everyone’s heart
But nobody wants to let him in
Do they know its Christmas time?
Today is the day for repentance
A time to change our heart
A time to say come in and be my King.
Because its Christmas time around.
