She caught me at the right time
So the only thing I could do was spit a cheesy line

The definition of living life like its golden

So lately I’ve been thinking about the maybe
Of us molding you and me into a we

Now it’ll take some time
Some aggravation and a little bit of crying
But that’s fine
Cause what we have in common is ambition

And a man like me has been looking for a woman like you so I can so I can apply the love that shes been missing

I once heard there was a statistic that said black men aren’t as ready to be married
And I’m ready to prove that wrong
Have you go back to where you read that and tell them you can sing a different song

Now I’m not the best man
But I plan to be
And right now my money is funny
But I got a lot of plans in me
And since patience is key
Add that to some faith and you’ll see
This young simba can one day be your king

Cause you’re a queen in my eyes
An heir to the throne on the rise
