A Zen master who was on a three day visit to a village,

Was asked for a discourse, by a group of villagers,

First day the master asked,” Do you know what I am to talk about?

“Yes!” echoed the villagers,

“So! No need to talk about what you already know”

Said the master and left,

Next day the Zen master repeated the question,

“No” came the reply,

“So! No use to talk about what you don’t know”

Said the master and left,

Last day when the master repeated the question,

Half voices where “Yes” and half “No”

“So! Those who know, please explain to those who don’t know about it,”

Said the master and left.

 Remember! It doesn’t matter

If you know, till you don’t realize.
