This poem came about as I was reading a poem written by my boyfriend almost a year ago.  I wish he felt for me the same as I feel for him.  It would indeed be a new world.   I would be able to be happy and complete – finally. . .

            DO YOU LOVE?

When dragons and sword dancers circle each other

Their hopes and dreams will awaken

When waterfalls laugh and sing in the sunshine

When flowers reach full bloom and break into chorus

Dreamkind will awaken our hearts?

When what we sought (love) will capture us

We will no longer be held in bondage

Our embraces will defeat death

Our kisses will devour us

Dreams will awaken desires

When the sword dancers ride on dragons

Everything lost will be restored

When we journey to the clouds

To the cities gleaming golden

We will no longer need the cold earth

Did you fall in love with me?  NO

Did you speak words of lost crazy?  NO

Do you feel my heart in yours?  NO

Do you feel my soul join yours in happy bliss?  NO

Did a new world awake for you?  NO

I have fallen in love with you

I speak words of now, later, and forever

When my heart aches and reaches for yours

When my soul stirs and needs to join yours

I reach a wall – incomplete – again . . .
