Wearing my eyes out, my neck crook from checking…
Mixed signals don’t make me smile, I think it’s this phone of mine, it don’t work all the time,
I’m sure though that it’s not, my paranoid mind?
I bang it on the table real hard, as if that’s going to help,
Slamming’ it down on my hand, “for god’s sake” as I give out a little yelp!
Wearing my eyes out; neck crook from checking,
This don’t seem right at all; there’s an error in connection,
I don’t think I’m in the same phone book, let alone the same page,
Feelings are strong; the right ones seem engaged,
Information is all I need, but I must talk with customer services,
Going through that route though, sure does make me nervous,
Why should I have to either, it’s not my communication error,
You start to wonder why you bother trying, in such bad black spot areas,
I’d rather not be doing this, so please give me a dead horse to flog,
I’m tuning out & over & out, where’s the pen, I’m going analogue!
