If I feel in a river right before your eyes
Would you try to save my life
If I was lost some where  in the woods
Would you send search and rescue
Do whatever you could
The Day you see I told you I had cancer and I was going to die

would you try to save me

How is it that you turned your back on an illness that you dont understand

well you know what neither do I

I’m scared and I’m alone

and I’m the one that is left here trying to fight

there are times that I don’t want to but you know what

your the one that says don’t give up

it’s sad that you can only say it over the phone or with your head down low

I hope you know if you end up with this illness

i’m your biggest fan your team all the way

I wont be on the side lines

I’ll be right up front with my hands dirty and keeping you safe

up all night and making sure I do my best to make sure you make it through

and if not that you know i’m here for you.

If you would help me through any of that
Why don’t you help me now
I’m drownding only with out the river
And I’m lost only with out the woods
Why let me die right in front of you

In times of challenges physical or emotional
I still need you to help me throught it
Don’t just leave me in the river as I drownd
Don’t just leave me in the woods to die
I can’t make it through this with out you
