A woman frustrated over her relationship because she gives all and the man gives none.

Leave if you must,

but don’t scatter the dust.

You are just a picture

I see occasionally.

There is no life in you,

and you look like a fool.

There is no response to my advances,

and there is no more chances.

You are like a mannequin,

without movement, and oh so thin.

What did I see in you?

Tell me something that is true.

This is not what I dreamed.

I cursed and steamed.

Nothing, but wasted time spent

in the middle of this pit,

not knowing we wouldn’t  fit.

Anger is all I can feel now,

however, I do vow

to get this behind me

and you shall see

how well I will be.

So, go ahead and leave if you must,

but don’t scatter the dust.

really captures the frustration and wasted emotions spent putting so much effort into a relationship for no return
