A story of Earth’s Plight.
Smog, Pollution, CFC’s
always pouring down on me.
Acid rain upon my head,
leaving tracks upon my bed.
Born of fire made of stone,
trying to be your happy home.
Daily stealing all my wealth
never caring about my health.
Day by day I’m slowly dying
if only you could hear me crying.
You abuse me without care,
to fuel your fires you burn my hair
From my veins you draw my blood
to power your engines and make them run.
You beat my skin till it turns black,
never ending your attacks.
From my stomach you take the lining,
and use it for your oil refining.
And every day you scar my face,
building things for your race.
And to me what do you give back
the waste and scum of your attacks.
But soon you’ll know cause when I’m gone,
you’ll have no planet to live on.
