Don’t turn away from yesterday, it teaches us to survive;
It gives a chance for everyone, to learn to live their life;

To understand the pain inside, it begins inside your heart;
For no-one else can fully know, what’s tearing you apart;

Unbeknown to everyone, each tear is filled with pain;
And there’s nothing one can say or do, to make it go away;

Let’s focus on our heart beat, never let it fade away;
Deep inside its shame, it’s true, getting worse everyday;

Yet we are never alone, we all have suffered before;
But why must life he this way, repeating its pain encore;

Eating into our very souls, unable to stop its force;
Penetrating our spirits alive, and keeping wanting more;

When is this pain to end, it is ever going to stop;
Wanting so bad for my heart to cease, for I’m in this pain alone.
