You can’t go, you can’t leave

You were the one that told me I could do anything I wanted

The one that told me I could fight any fear, ache or pain

You showed us that miracles can happen

Just by changing the way you think and feel about life

This can’t happen to you, you’re too strong, too tough

Unstoppable, unbeatable, to soft, to caring, and to loving

You could fix anything if you put your mind to it, you could make anything from nothing

You showed me to follow my dreams

No matter how unrealistic and unconquerable it may be    

The words; cant, wont, scared, were never in your vocabulary

And you showed us how to delete those words from ours

So how can someone so special, beautiful, wonderful, loving and caring be gone?

 I don’t want to write these words down

Because then it means it’s true, I don’t want to believe it

My heart and my being won’t accept it

One person in my eyes

Has changed the way people live, work, and think

And that one person was you

You inspired, encouraged, and enlightened

So how can the world go on without you in it?
