Douglas Adams famously wrote of a man called Rob McKeena, who unwittingly was a Rain God. "All he knew was that his working days were miserable and he had a succession of lousy holidays. All the clouds knew was that they loved him and wanted to be near him, to cherish him, and to water him." This poem is a tribute to Douglas and Rob.

They say it’s a small world
But that there are plenty of fish in the sea
And all the bottom-feeders come crawling back to me.

They say it’s a cruel world
But that there is plenty to be happy about
And all the “other” feelings gather around my feet.

I think that I’m actually a god
For all things dark and gloomy
Because they all want to be with me
And everybody else thinks I’m loony.
