If we could only turn the clock back to our childhood fantasies.

I dream of starlight dust and moonbeams in my hair.
My twilight wonder years are made of rainbow stars,
Chasing colors around a lighted sky. Beyond the
Clouds are gold and silver wishes of my childhood
Fantasies, untouched by father time.
Cream puffs filled with little hearts, dancing to a
Lullaby. Tricolor ribbons and bright colored ponies
Made of coral bells and wishing wells. Sand castles
Made of gingerbread cookies and lollipop flags, forever
Loved, forever mine.
Ice cream clouds passing by my window with clown like
Faces and sugar plum smiles. Candy kisses sailing
Upon a midnight moon. Gumdrops pouring down from the
Havens to lie at my feet. Cupcake balloons and jelly bean
Dresses are all apart of a simple place in time, that is
With me still.
Sunshine flowers with picture mirror faces, pink lemonade
Ponds and teddy bear crayons. Baby dolls dressed in yellow
Daisy dresses and buttercup shoes, polka dot bubble gum
And marshmallow ducks. Jumping jack snowballs, butterfly
Biscuits, purple daffodils, and I are a dreamer of dreams.
