Lost in a sea of worry

It is all I ever feel

Where I see with my intuition

But still cannot see my future

What has blanketed my sight?

Covered my dreams from my mind.

Perhaps there is something lost here

Something wrong here

I can’t see where I’m headed

What roads I’m going down

I simply follow them hopefully

With my dreams in my mind.

Still I digress

that people do not understand

All I wish is this

To understand

A break does my spirit

Each time I fall apart

When people fail to recognize

Difference of mind and heart
