They are about oil,money,and drugs.

Thought we had good leadership

But some up there are thugs.

We were told that offshore drilling

would help to make us independent

Even a former governor of one state

called off shore drilling good sense.

Now four states are facing problems

Even if BP’s mess was without intent

Offshore drilling can cause disasters

Greed and avarice cause deep lament.

There is something about oil riches

That brings grief along with gain

The love of money is root of all evil
