Short poem / writing on how I have become work focused.

Driven
I have never been driven
Until this job
I bring up work at the coffee station and as we walk to our Cars
Seeing you,  I forget to ask about your Child, but I remembered to ask about project milestones when  I stand in line behind you at the grocery store.
I was never like this , never

I use to brag about ,”leaving it at the office”
I used to think that people who acted as I do now
took themselves too seriously
And were ridiculously Committed to their job

but somewhere, some when ,I became the guy who says

want progress -I want effort – I NEED  the work to be completed

It matters to me

An every day I am still surprised to discover that

I am driven
