One of the best.
People are here at Triond for different reasons. For some, it’s all about the views. For others, it’s about having a voice, and having that voice be heard.
At some point, we all do this for the love of writing, but most of us eventually succumb to the desire to expand, be it for financial reasons or for others.
But there are exceptions. There are a few here who do this purely for the love of writing; who genuinely take pleasure in the act of painting a picture with words.
The finest example of this is Duff D. Moss. Duff is a wizard at his craft; he is able to create genuine magic with the masterpieces his words craft. His stories possess a brilliant dry humor and subtlety that is rarely witnessed at this level of writing. He is the very definition of ‘undiscovered talent’, and genuinely doesn’t seem to mind. He just goes about his business, quietly putting out masterpiece after masterpiece.
And his contributions here at Triond go far beyond his brilliant writing; Duff’s writing challenges act as a glue that binds a good portion of this community together. He is always willing to help a newcomer get on their literary feet, and never has a harsh word to share.
I have personally enjoyed a great deal of commercial success here at Triond; And I can genuinely say I would trade it all for the ability to do with my words what Duff D Moss does. He is a gentleman and a scholar. When you talk about the art of writing, you’re talking about the likes of him.
I leave you with a few of what I consider to be my favorites of Duff’s work. I won’t bother to introduce or describe them, as I don’t believe I would do them justice. I will simply say this: If there is one writer on those site I would recommend here at Triond for the sake of pure reading enjoyment, it is Duff D Moss. So take a few minutes, relax, and enjoy the words of a genuine genius.
