This is a poem about the dust storm that reached parts of Sydney NSW in Australia last year.
The sky is usually blue and clear
The trees are usually still and silent
The modern cars and buildings gleam
The streets bustling with life
Now the sky is amber and misty
The trees rustling and flailing with fear
The tops of buildings and cars tarnished in dust
The streets barren and lonely
The sky mimics a tremendous fire
While the dust cause the air conditioners to wheeze
Such a small particle alone is harmless
But in a troop they cause unbelievable havoc
