This is a poem about love. This was how I felt when I first met my Fiancee.

You say you do not want to get close.

You keep reminding me of our soon parting.

I get to know you more, the more time I spend with you.

I loose myself in your eyes.

It is so hard to ensure I do not fall in love with you.

It seems you do not trust yourself.

You try to refuse your emotions.

I can sense you wanting to get closer each time we are together.

I can feel how much you care when you hold me.

Desires are nothing to me.

The only thing I desire is to spend time with you.

Both of us are trying not to get too close.

Neither of us wants to do anything serious.

You say you have some distrust to everyone.

The admittance of your distrust in yourself makes it clear.

I trust you completely.

I stop myself from saying I love you.

And I can see in your eyes you want to say something.

We lay here while you hold me.

I have no other desire than to be with you.

My strength to deny my emotions is failing me.

And I feel as if your resistance is failing too.

Can’t I say I love you just once & mean it?
