You may think you are alone with your thoughts and your actions, a solitude of your own world. Think again for someone is always watching and listening.

The walls have ears
They are listening when you are not
The land has eyes
It is watching when you are not
Don’t say what you don’t want heard
Don’t do what you don’t want seen
Life has many secrets; as do you
Illusion or confusion
Reality or fantasy
Do not pretend nor seek sanctuary
In your own solitude
For you cannot hide within the land of many eyes
Watching your every move
You cannot speak but a word for it shall be heard
Bouncing from wall to wall
Ears and eyes are always upon you
Solitude is merely a word
For you are truly never alone.

Although there is no one around you or with you, you are never alone. Someone is always listening and can see what you are trying to hide. Nothing is ever a secret for long or forever.

Brilliant poem, so very, very true, I have found great solace in the fact that time reveals all.

I like this poem in that it reminded me like something out of science fiction as I was reading it. Very cool.

    Take Care,
