EARTH ANGELS

It seems to me that angels

surround me day by day.

Angels sent to encourage me

as I journey on life’s way

as on this Earth I wander

trying to stay on God’s path

that leads me to eternity

when I face my earthly death

and pass into forever

where my accounts I must confess;

yet in this life they share with me,

lift me when troubled times unfold

with words to strengthen me and comfort me

helping me keep my faith bold…

They fill me with hope and gladness

as I share time with my friends

through times of laughter, times of tears,

and on them I can depend;

my friends, my friends are my Earth angels

sent to me from God above

to share this journey with me

in joy or sorrow; and always with their love.

I think friends are our Earth Angels

whether near or far away

that keep in touch and give so much

to our life every day

over a cup of coffee

or just a note in the mail,

friends reaching out and caring

with a love that does not fail

to brighten our darkest moments,

lift us up and give us hope

as we journey through this life,

helping us to cope

with whatever we are facing,

they’re Earth angels, I think so,

our friends, are the greatest treasures

here on Earth we’ll ever know.
