An Easter poem for all who still believe in the Easter Rabbit.

Image via Wikipedia
The Easter Bunny comes to town,
riding in a Chevy.
She hit a bump and broke her eggs
And drove into the levee.
Easter comes once a year
And when it does,
We all know its here.
On Easter morning at early dawn
Before the roosters were crowing
I met a bob-tail bunny
And asked where she was going.
Hippety-hopping on her way,
She perked her ears,
And winked her eye,
And said “I have chocolate eggs,
And bonbon eggs , and eggs
Of every color for every child
For Easter day, and went
Hippety-hopping on her way.
