A poem about hiding eggs on Easter for kids to search for.

Image via Photobucket

The Easter eggs are hidden,
Where will you look
Outside in the garden,
Under every nook
Will you see their bright colors
Will you see their sparkle and shine
Where are the the last three,
You’ve only found nine
You’ll ask the one who hid them,
To give you some clues
but not to give it away,
Whatever they do
The little ones enjoy this game
Of Easter egg hide and seek
There only job in the meanwhile
Is to stay inside and not peak

This is a lovely poem which takes me back to all the Easter egg hunts we used to do at school when I was teaching. Well done.

Your poem reminds of when we used to hide eggs for the kids. And I miss the fun.
