One of my pet peeves, people forgetting about me. I don’t want to sound conceited or anything, but is it that easy to? Or am I just quiet enough so people don’t take notice?

I hate being forgotten about.
Ever since I was three
Years old
People have forgotten
My name and me in general.

So many people have
That I have lost count.
In Pre School I was forgotten,
And wasn’t put in the yearbook.

And now for the second
Year in a row,
I was not put in the program
For our school’s musical.
Under the pit orchestra,
I was the only one.
Am I that easy
To forget?

    Alexa,
They don’t know what they’re missing by forgetting you. Great poem! They all should read it!

Hand your poem to your band instructor. Sometimes being forgotten means your not a pain in the butt. The squeaky wheel gets the oil. I would take that as meaning you are not the one causing the teacher’s the blues. I think about you, in fact I thought about you while writing the article I just submitted. I had hoped it would encourage and uplift you some. Take care
