A poem for Duff’s writing challenge.

The ebony amulet you gave me,

brought only chaos to my life.

It filled my days with sorrow,

all my nights with much strife.

We argued, fussed and fought,

harsh words were thrown around.

I slung the ebony amulet far away,

since then it’s never been found.

Then some other poor kid picked it up and the strife followed them. How unkind ;-)

So far it seems these ebony amulets have cause nothing but trouble :-)

Thanks again for playing. The challenge is not complete without a Darla poem.
