A poem of winter.

It is a night of darkness, a song of sorrow,

The woodland stirs, wolves vent their loneliness,

Curling, icy wisps of winter shrouds her pale form,

Her ebony hair cascades over lucent ivory shoulders.

Full scarlet lips part slightly, to taste the sweetness,

From the pale earth beneath her,

A night of ecstasy, a brooding desire,

She weeps as do I.
