Sometimes it only my own voice I can hear.
Distance takes
what is left to feel.
Only momentary visions offer replacement
as a meager supply.
Life seems to take more than it gives
in illusion.
Even the strongest cannot survive
its falling;
fallen.
Reason cannot explain irrationality
and offers no excuses.
It is what it is.
Acceptance is the only path worth taking
when not taken together.
Betrayal lends a most bitter hand
when deep down it is the fault of no one.
Only it doesn’t stop the tears.
Emotion knows not a rational thought
when the soul carries the weight.
Selfish
tearing out of the heart
so that it may reap the rewards
that travel uncaring.
Some point;
revelation in being selfish
deems itself necessary
when life
turns to mere existing
without you.
this was a brutal but great read..
