Eden was a splendid place

Green meadows, flowing streams

A vision of God’s grace

He created a man and woman

Named Adam and Eve

To be the caretakers of everything

God had conceived

“You must obey My laws,” God said

“If not, the consequences you will dread”

Eve went walking alone in the garden one day

satan, the slanderer came slithering her way

he said, “Eat of this fruit

So you’ll know what God knows”

She complied to his wish

And evil was exposed

God found out what Eve had done

He became enraged and blacken out the sun

“Go Adam, take your wife and leave this place

For you have fallen into shame and disgrace

No longer will you be perfect people

Or live in a perfect land

You put your faith in satan, the devil

Instead of leaving it in my hands”
