I like to write dark poetry and I wrote this one while having a fight with my boyfriend.
I watch the world wash away
Die to live another day
Live to hear just what you’ll say
Standing on the edge of time
Fingers crossed eternal hope
Hanging from a fraying rope
I say yes but you say nope
Standing on the edge of time
Heart is beating oh so fast
Wishing I could bury my past
Knowing you and I won’t last
Standing on the edge of time
Remembering mean things you’ve said
Living but I wish I was dead
Try to run my feet are lead
Falling off the edge of time.
