Shots from a distance shooting ahead
Hitting a person and laying them dead
What can stop the effects of war
Communicating doesn’t seem to work anymore
So shooting and bombing will sort out the fuss
It don’t matter how long it takes were in no rush

It goes on for months, turning to years,
O my, where’s the time gone its bin 15 years,
Towns have been ruined, cities to dust,
Looks like when war stops the country’s going to be bust
So once again it comes back to us,
Looks like us tax payers, might as well just give up

Thousands of soldiers are warming the ground
Waiting for family’s to have them spotted and found
To take them back home to have them tenderly loved
Before a loving depart which will turn them to dust
Grieving thereafter soon will come
All because of war which many think and find fun
