Then I’d soar up high like the eagle, free like the birds in the sky

Then I’d have the best of everything money can buy

I wish I were God

Then I’d blot Satan out of existence, and evil will cease to exist

I wish I were a king

Then I’d have lots of subjects, loyal to my every dictates

I wish I was handsome

Then the ladies would find it so hard to take their eyes off me

I wish she were mine

Then I’d love her for the rest of my life

But I’m just me
