This is a poem I wrote about the terrist attacks of 9/11.
Eight years ago, on this day,
Lives were stolen from the planet,
Yet today we still think back and pray
Eight years ago, on this day,
Two towers fell to the floor
Leaving the blue sky completely grey
Eight years ago, on this day,
The world survived a tragic incident
And though it happened eight years ago, no one has had anything to say
