A Poem dedicated to all those Irish boys and girls that never made it back home.

Emigrant.

The light is dim

and the night is cold

as i board this plane

to take me home

Ive been out here

for many years

ot toil of love

of sweat and tears

Ive lived ive loved

ive laughed and cried

I cant complain

ive had my life

But now im bent

and grey and old

My body aches

i feel the cold

Now i just dream

of days gone by

now i return home

to die.

Sad Poem! But all of this was part of the journey of this man’s life.
