You stood there a confused

man in the wind.

The door remained open

Behind you swinging

In and out,

In and out,

In and out with the breeze.

Across the grass and over

The fence is a window

With a broken shade and no

One around to fill it’s

Empty space.

And you looked around again.

And you stood there a confused

Man in the wind.

The grass swayed and the

Leaves rose and the branches

Blew and you looked out.

And over there remained

An empty house.

And you wondered.

And you wondered.
