This poem is very much about love at first sight and other versions of feeling attracted to a certain person. In this case, I had known this person for quite some time but never paid much attention to him untill I saw him again recently and relised that there was more about him than I thought.
Enchanted
If I told you that I loved you,
Even in a dare,
If I told you that I loved you,
would you really care?
I miss the gentle laugh,
And the smile on your face.
I remember you from ages back,
At Auntie Sharon’s place.
When we were younger,
Innocent at heart,
I’d never thought I’d love you,
Back at the start.
It only took one evening,
It only took one night,
It only took one moment,
To set my heart in flight.
His amazing green eyes,
Always held my gaze.
He didn’t notice,
I was starstuck and amazed.
I was enchanted to see you again,
The feelings in my heart will forever deepen.
