Do thy diligence to come to me,
For Demas has forsaken.
Affections of this present world
This young man’s heart hath taken.
He’s gone to Thessalonica,
And Crescens to Galatia.
And Titus whom I loved so well
Is departed to Dalmatia!
Only Luke is with me.
Bring me Mark for work I choose him.
Though once unprofitable to me,
I now know I can use him.
And Tychicus I have sent away.
The cloak I left behind,
When thou comest, bring it and the books,
And the parchments I can bind!
Alexander is not with me.
Oh, what eveil he hath done.For all his evil deeds,
The Lord reward him every one!
