Ending a relationship is not easy.

Relationships don’t always
stay the same
they change like
moves in a game
what was once
perfect and right
can sometimes
turn into a fight
when both persons
realize the end
they can part with
being a friend
but when one person is
not ready to let go
the conflict can create
hurt feelings to grow
all sorts of emotions get
tangled in pain
and what was once carefree
becomes a strain
the relationship
must break apart
before each person
can get a new start
the one who is ready to part
is relieved
the other one needs more
time to grieve

Very poignant. Even 63 yr old ladies knows how that hurts. Sometimes even the most promising relationships sometimes just does not blossom.

Thanks for the uplift…It feels better knowing that others can identify with your pain.

That is true! And really poignant poem! I just ended a relationship this week and don’t think the person is ready to move on. But, as my mom said, you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince! Keep writing! ~peace~
