…a divine journey to you.

There are no more days of sadness
For you to meet
There are no more moments
To regret
With you by my side

You drifted to another place
And time
You took another journey
You disappeared
And dared me to follow
There was something
You needed to find

I let you go
With endless
Strings of love

My heart knew
You’d eventually
Come back to me
Time and patience
Painted a pathway
Toward divinity

Paved a dream
Of arms circling
My hopeful form

I watched as you
Eagerly took to air and flew
I needed to let you go
So you could search the world
And finally realize what your heart
Somehow already knew

Beautifully written! I was never one to have strings of love..I’m not very good at letting go. I suppose that will be much different with my son though.
