Slits in eyes and deadly apathy,
Slow-motion takes over rewind
And black and white dots brush you out of me
Our paths like two boats drifting to the tidal
Ways we wasted the days: decomposed and dead
Tell me…what makes us better now?
When we have outgrown our childhood days
And we’re just fooling ourselves with ourselves

Pull my hair though it hurts
Illustrate to me what friendship’s worth
Cut our tongues for saying those words
Just imagine how it could have been worse
When the two of us took the initiative
Oh, wait! There’s no “us” so there’s no initiative
So rip the sleeves we bled but keep it for remembrance

I prefer that you pay your attention
For the price of pain
(Do it while you still can)
Regrets won’t bring us nowhere nor the bliss
Of ignorance do, so pay your attention
For the price of pain
(While we’re still alive in our eyes)

I’ll punch your guts out for meeting me
For not taking enough time to know what we could be
So I rather be your enemy
Because being your enemy is better than being a stranger
( At least you can‘t say that I was never there)
So I rather be you enemy
Because being your enemy is better than being a stranger
( At least you can’t say that I was never there)

We’ve been treating ourselves as characters
Of a novel novel- we barely knew what we were climaxing
This is such a bad timing for an ending
(What comes up must go down)
But I won’t tear the pages I wrote for hours
Just to separate myself with chapters we have already read
So pageant, let me ask you one last thing:
Would you prefer me as a nonentity or an antagonist?
…..
(You really think I would take that for an answer?)

I’ll punch your guts out for meeting me
For not taking enough time to know what we could be
So I rather be your enemy
Because being your enemy is better than being a stranger
( At least you can‘t say that I was never there)
So I rather be your enemy
Because being your enemy is better than being a stranger
( At least you can’t say that I was never there)
