I wrote this when I was in one of those "lonely and depressed" moods, if you read it, you can picture the words like a mini-movie in your head. Enjoy!

Today is the day that just seems so empty, so blank
When I walk across the park just to get to the lake
Just to toss a rock and watch it skip across the waters
Only for it to sink after four times of skippin’ and hoppin’
I use my toes to draw a picture of a man in the sand
With a picture of a girl next to him, she’s holding his hand
The words TLF are written just inches above the couple
I’ve seen this image before, it’s not deja vu or seeing double
And right when I’m about to add the finishing touches
The water washes us away just like life did that sudden
Why would this happen? What caused us to split?
The answer was at my feet, first it came then it went
I saw the image of that man, the one that I disliked
I looked at him, he looked at me like he was ready to fight
When he did what he done, there was no trace of my drawing
He took it with him and kept it in the waters where he was stalling
I stepped over and I peered through the water once more
I saw him again, he looked the same just like he did before
So why would he return? He can’t, because he’s just an image
He started what happened, only for the good side to finish
There was no trace of the girl, it’s not like it would matter
If he didn’t commit his action, to this day, I still would’ve had her
