Poem about a very loving, and brave mother lying in hospital with a terminal sickness.
Everyday we come to see you, and sit beside your bed,
we feel confused and blue, to see your still limp head…
Slowly your eyes open, you sense somebody is here,
even through your medicinal doping, your smile is oh so dear…

Your weak hand reaches out to touch, the ones you love so much,
brings tears to our eyes, in silence our hearts cries…
Then you tell us your plans, what your going to do soon,
to travel to other lands, and sing beneath the moon…
To fly the high skies, and sail the ocean blue,
with the crews do high fives, some of the things your going to do…
Then soon you fall asleep, out of the room we slowly creep,
you’ve helped us to understand, to enjoy life while you can…..end
