I write these words not

to disrespect or degrade,

but simply to state a view

from my unbiased soul.

From oracles to saints,

surgeons to soldiers,

women shouldn’t be denied

equality to men.

The ribs are important bones,

surrounding organs,

encasing our sacred hearts,

cradling us for life.

Compassionate souls,

are not weak, nor are they ignorant,

they are strong and understanding.

Intelligent enough to know

the importance of who they are,

an equality to men.
