Equivalents of Love

The levels of love require thought as well as action.

Sex is more than the back and forth of unified hips

It’s the making of an unforgettable kiss that results

In a love child being born. Paid for by nurturing and time

Rather than alimony or court edicts

Because the woman who gives her all to you falls deeper

Into a difficult situation whereby equations of separation

Can’t be a part of our solution.

The byproducts we have come to know as sin

Is the justification that brings us closer together

Connects us with innocent kisses and guilty pleasures

Translated simply, I have an orgasmic release

Every time I think about you

You squeezed a lot of meaning into this short poem. If I understand you correctly, a shallow level of love can result in a child being brought into the world of court battles, custody arrangements, having to be shuffled back and forth between parents who now despise each other. A child deserves better.
