A philosophical poem.

Lips never moving
a mind that always chatters
one event repeatedly going over and over again

a broken record
abruptly stopped
by an earthquake
thicker than a hairline

stretching wider

wider

and wider

the first half of life broken away
melted from the ice cap
that managed to remain intact
for life to thrive upon
while the sun shone.

Our lives come in many pieces and as each one melts away we find the next. Lovely
