Every night I dream

and every day I wait for night,

so that I may dream.

For when I dream

I see you there.

Always smiling, always laughing

Just like you used to.

In my dreams

When you’re there

I always feel happy

Do you know?

I  miss you.

You’re in my dreams,

but reality is different.

You’re never really there

No, not anymore

You’re gone.

Forever.

And I only see you at night

When I dream.

That is why,

I long for night.

The darkness is my friend now.

It helps me see you.
