Prudence?

Every once in awhile
there lives strangely enough
Something that breathes
and comes to be in the gallery of a touch or a smile
that makes it real tough
to say no

Every once in awhile
there oddly becomes
A shift in the pattern of peace
And the preponderant sum?
Is friend vs Foe

Every once in awhile
Once in a great while
Comes beauty that beguiles
A unique way, a special style
and I cant say no

No I cant say no

I do like this, but I believe it should be awhile not two words as you have it.

You are using the correct form of “a while”. A while is a construction meaning “an indefinite period of time”. Awhile is an adverb used after a verb. Its definition is “after a short period of time”. No need for change Jerry.
