I awaken early in the morning,

to a clear and sunny day.

I decide to go for a short walk,

wanting to enjoy the crisp Autumn air.

It’s colder than yesterday morning,

so I bundle up before going outside.

The frozen world glitters and sparkles,

in the dawn’s colorful pastel hues.

Birds are singing in the treetops,

greeting the morning with their soothing song.

Everything seems okay for now.

I hope this feeling lasts for awhile.
