I actually wrote this poem directly on Triond last night.. But then, I saved it as a draft, thinking I might have to edit some stuff but I didn’t have to.. It is scary as it is!.. I don’t know what was working on my mind while I sat in front of the computer last night because I have mentioned most of things that freak me out!.. I couldn’t sleep after that.. Was even afraid to remove my glasses because then I wouldn’t see clearly what was around me!.. Boy am I glad that night is over!!… ^^
Raindrops enter the house with the blowing wind,
There’s thunder, there’s lightning,
The dark, dark clouds and the dark, dark night,
And the rainstorm is even more frightening.
With anger, the sky is rumbling,
Growling like an angry dog,
Ghastly shadows are seen, moving,
Clear, even through the thick, thick fog!
The empty rocking chair,
The black cat screaming.. Crying?
The snake raising its head from beneath the grass,
It was hidden all along.. Spying?
Windows and doors flying open and shut,
Slimy things crawling all over the floor,
An empty couch is suddenly occupied,
On an empty bed, who is there to snore??
Soft, soft whispering,
Little knots on thread,
Thrown into the sea,
Hidden under someones bed.
Drops of blood,
Spilling from where??
The clothes are stained.
On that knife, is it hair?
Torturing sounds and huge blockades,
Is that light seen far away?
This night has been so long,
When will come the bright, sunny day??
But now darkness takes it place,
The light is gone,
Aahh! That noise!
A cloth is harshly torn.
Crows came for the blood,
The house had to be left.
For what was it that was seen?
Something left by a guest?
Weird markings,
Partially and deliberately burnt clothes,
Jealousies,
Greed for the sound of shattering hopes?
Bones, skin, nails,
Wrong sayings,
Visibly minute,
Strength known only after weighing.
Puppets and needles,
Drawings and scary faces.
Evil intentions,
Sighs and grimaces.
In this huge mist, grey and old,
Where the cries, the wailing stops never,
Sure not easy, but it has to be known,
The day is lost forever.
